Public Lunch Session
Please join the City of Peoria and experts from across many sectors as we dive into making the most of this community investment. The public session will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peoria Riverfront Museum (map). This is a free event. No registration required.
Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch as they listen to two industry experts discuss the benefits of thoughtful urban design for the first hour. The second hour will focus on a panel with a range of experts who will talk about their experiences, brainstorm potential opportunities in Peoria, and answer questions from the audience. Limited free parking will be available in the Museum’s parking deck, with additional on-street parking available.
This is the classic Strong Towns presentation centered around the question of: why, despite all the growth America has experienced, do our cities struggle financially just doing the basics?
Location: Running Central (map)
Parking lots and street side parking are available.
