Minneapolis just became the first major city to end single-family-only zoning. This is a huge deal, not least because Minneapolis had 70% of its residential land set aside for single-family use.
As Kea Wilson and Chuck Marohn discuss, this isn’t a radical idea but it is sure to have a subtly radical impact over time. What do the new guidelines mean for Minneapolis and for other cities and states considering a similar approach?
