Kristin Green is the founder of Placemakers Design, a firm primarily focused on the planning and design of downtown developments across North Texas. Kristin specializes in infill developments that cannot meet local development codes that are written for suburban or large-scale urban development. Kristin graduated from Texas A&M in 2003 with a BS in Civil Engineering and has over 15 years of experience in the field working for both municipalities and private developers. Kristin is also an engaged citizen in her local community. She has served on the Planning and Zoning Commission for the past 5 years, along with the Lewisville 2025 Plan Committee and Advisory Board, Transportation Board, and the Downtown Advisory Board. With her professional background and her years of service to her community, Kristin understands all of the aspects of successful placemaking, including local politics, development codes, infrastructure, public perception, short-term economic feasibility, and long-term fiscal resiliency.
