Build Maine will be going virtual this year by hosting a series of webinars starting Thursday, May 28, and continuing Thursday mornings in June.  Strong Towns president Charles Marohn will be speaking on Thursday, June 25th, 9:30am-12:00pm.

Municipalities across Maine are dealing with tightening budgets and a growing list of unfunded infrastructure obligations, including routine maintenance and replacement of roads and utilities, creating more strain on local governments and local services. At the same time, more people are moving back to small towns and city service centers, leading to an increase in pressure on roads and rising vehicle-related fatalities.
