Do you have the next great idea for how to build a better bike lane, or heck, maybe even a better bike? How about a riveting story to tell about that one time you ran for city council? Or maybe you just wanted to muse a little about a problem with zoning codes that’s really bugging you and how we could solve it?

If this sounds up your alley, come present on it during the Strong Towns National Gathering (May 30–31) Opening Night PechaKucha Sessions.

“PechaKucha” is a Japanese onomatopoeia for lively chatter. It’s a fast-paced, fun storytelling format that we’ve included at several previous Strong Towns events, and it’s always a hit.

During a PechaKucha, you’ll present on any topic using 20 slides; you can give 20 seconds of commentary on each slide to guide the audience as they learn about your topic. That’s 6.6 minutes to deliver a great presentation.

The floor can be yours to present on anything you think the Strong Towns audience might find interesting. Whether funny, insightful, or even a little out there, we welcome your submissions!

Please fill out this form by May 7, 11:00 p.m. CT, so we can consider you as a potential presenter. We are aiming to confirm our list of presenters by May 12. The PechaKucha session time and date is 7–9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30.
