City Partnership Program

Where Strong Towns Meets City Hall

Individual actions of city leaders aren’t always enough for institutional change. The City Partnership Program provides a practical path for cities ready to lead.

Prepare to become a partner in 2026 and learn more about the program with an informational webinar on January 9.

Program Overview

Turning Strong Towns Ideas Into Citywide Practice

The Strong Towns City Partnership gives municipalities a structured way to participate in and benefit from the Strong Towns movement. Every partner city gains access to the tools, training, and relationships that help leaders build fiscally strong, people-centered communities.

This program formalizes the institutional side of our movement, offering a clear path for cities to engage, learn, and demonstrate leadership in building a Strong Town.
