Today on the Iron Range

Grand Rapids, MN

Today kicks off our first day on the Range. This morning, Chuck Marohn and Jason Schaefer will start out in Grand Rapids, MN.

In the morning, they'll meet with a local city administrator.

At noon, they'll host a roundtable discussion on The Role of Tourism and Arts in Bringing People Back to the Range at Old Central High School (10 NW 5th St, Grand Rapids, MN). We'll have a dynamic conversation with community doers involved in the arts, culture, outdoor recreation and tourism.

In the afternoon, Chuck will meet with a local city councilor to discuss the town's comprehensive plan.

Finally, the day finishes with a Curbside Chat at 6pm, open to the public. The event will be held in the Timberlake Lodge (144 Southeast 17th Street, Grand Rapids).

Throughout the week, Chuck and Jason will also share some observations and reflections on their activities, as well as photos on our social media streams, so keep an eye out for that.
