Andy Boenau

Andy Boenau is the Director of Transportation for the City of Richmond, Virginia, working to implement safe and healthy infrastructure for all ages and abilities. He brings a unique stack of abilities to the industry: storyteller, urban planner, and transportation engineer. Andy has won awards for photography, filmmaking, writing, and podcasting, even though he's unqualified for any of that artsy-fartsy stuff. His parents helped him buy a civil engineering degree, of all things. He publishes at UrbanismSpeakeasy.com and joyfully trolls the status quo at x.com/boenau.
