Today we've got the video and audio (if podcasts are more your style) from a recent Ask Strong Towns: Celebrity Edition webcast conversation featuring Chuck Marohn and renowned urban planner and walkability expert Jeff Speck.
Speck recently released the new book Walkable City Rules, a collection of 101 principles for achieving walkability that are, in Speck’s words, “organized for easy access, worded for arguments at the planning commission, illustrated for clarity, and packed with not just data but specifications.” You can read some excerpts from the book here.
We invited Jeff Speck to join us on our monthly ask-us-anything webcast to answer Strong Towns members’ burning questions about walkability and how to better promote it in their own cities and towns. Check it out here.
